Hi, I’m Daisy Dicker and I run Brighton and Hove Piano Teachers.
I wanted to be able to provide a service which would make finding an excellent teacher for you or your child easy whichever style they wanted to learn be it classical, jazz, pop, graded exams or all of the above! We have teachers who specialise in different styles of music including contemporary, jazz, classical and composition. We also have teachers who can teach music theory or help with GCSE or A Level music preparation.
I personally meet with all teachers regularly, particularly when they first join Brighton and Hove Piano Teachers to get to know their personality and teaching style in order to make better and more informed recommendations to students. Every teacher is professionally qualified, has a full DBS check and, most importantly, loves teaching students of all ages and abilities! It is really important for me to find teachers who really enjoy teaching piano and have chosen it as a career path.
We hold two concerts a year, usually in the spring and autumn. This is a great opportunity for students to get involved and show off their new skills and provides everyone with a chance to perform in a supportive and informal setting.
